Past productions at York

The Provoked Wife will be the fourth annual summer production since the Department of Theatre, Film and Television moved to its new facilities on Heslington East Campus in September 2010. As with the past three shows, The Provoked Wife will be staged in the department’s 200-seat Scenic Stage Theatre, whose design is based on the Sheffield Crucible.

In June 2011, Michael Cordner directed a student cast in Thomas Middleton’s Jacobean masterpiece, A Mad World, My Masters!, the film of which can now be watched online.

In June 2012, Tom Wright directed students in Alan Ayckbourn Shorts, a series of short plays and comic sketches taken from scripts held in Storey Collection at the Borthwick Archives.
